Website analytics

With your permission, Google Analytics uses cookies to measure visits, page views and traffic sources on our public pages. Google receives technical information about your browser and device. We use aggregate reports to improve the site. You can decline analytics and still use the site, or change your choice below.

Analytics excludes admin and beta areas, checkout, order and private booking pages. We remove query strings and fragments from the page URLs we send. Advertising features are disabled. See Google’s privacy policy.

Newsletter

We use your name, email address and subscription record to send newsletter updates about Samples, Studio Sessions and Devices. Signing up for a session or buying a product does not subscribe you to the newsletter. You can unsubscribe using the link in any campaign.

Squarespace manages newsletter signups and bulk newsletters. The Engineering return page provides the free kick pack download without receiving your email address or verifying subscription confirmation. Device release alerts remain limited to the alerts originally requested.

Sessions and project files

Your booking details and preparation notes are used to arrange your session. Cal.com manages availability against Google Calendar. Stripe processes payment; this site does not collect card details. Transactional emails deliver confirmations and reminders.

Dropbox receives project files through a dedicated file request. Files sync to Alex’s Mac for session preparation. Submitted sharing links are retained with your session, and a link is distinguished from files successfully received.

Project files are retained for 90 days after the session, then removed from the intake folder and its synced copy. You may ask Alex to preserve an individual project. Cancelled sessions are reviewed separately before files are removed. Copies you keep yourself, your shared-link source, and any separately agreed final deliverables are outside this intake cleanup.

Purchases

Your cart saves the products you select in this browser so you can return to them later. Purchased items are removed when your paid order page opens.

Devices, samples, presets and projects are sold through this site with Stripe as the merchant of record. Stripe takes your payment, works out and collects any sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipt, under its own privacy policy. We keep your order (name, email, products, amount and download activity) to deliver your files and resend your download links. Product files are stored in Dropbox.

Purchases made earlier on Gumroad stay in your Gumroad library under Gumroad’s privacy terms.

Contact and corrections

For access, corrections, deletion requests or a question about your data, contact Alex. We keep the records needed to administer bookings, consent and payments. The 90-day project-file policy does not promise that transaction records are deleted on that schedule.
